Boundary Setting Worksheet

Boundary Setting Worksheet

Boundaries are not walls. They are healthy limits that help protect your emotional, relational, physical, and spiritual well-being. A boundary helps clarify what is okay, what is not okay, and what you need in order to stay connected to yourself and others with greater honesty.

Many people struggle with boundaries because they worry about disappointing others, creating conflict, or being misunderstood. Some learned early on that keeping the peace mattered more than naming their needs. Others may know they need a boundary but feel unsure how to communicate it without sounding harsh or defensive.

Boundary setting is a skill. Like any skill, it can be practiced.

Use the prompts below to help you identify where a boundary may be needed and how to express it with clarity and care.
